The Drug Trafficking Solution

Narcotics trafficking and the criminal organizations that sponsor it represent the gravest and most complex threat to democracy and human rights that we face today, according to America’s Quarterly recent feature on drug trafficking. Governments are easily eroded by criminal drug connections that wield multi-billion dollar empires. There is also the threat by even sincere government officials engaging large police forces that then threaten the human rights of all concerned.

The facts are drug money flows through the Americas infecting any weak link and purchasing political control. Fortunately, the answer to drug trafficking doesn’t rely in politics or violent police forces. The answer lies in effective drug education and drug rehabilitation . The answer is the Narconon program.

If one is going to put out a fire one has to direct the extinguisher at the source, one doesn’t just spray the flames. The source that fuels drug trade is ignorance and addiction. The Narconon program addresses both of these.

Narconon, a non-profit drug rehabilitation and education organization, was established in 1966 and soon became a worldwide organization known for its successful handling of drug addiction. Hard-core heroin addicts were the very first successful graduates.

Recently, in Mexico where drug cartel murders are in the tens of thousands in the past few years, Narconon has entered the scene with their first step program open to all. Before Narconon the heroin withdrawal methods in use were wholly ineffective, consisting of merely tying towels around the addicts hands to prevent them from clawing their face when withdrawing from heroin.

Now armed with the technology of Narconon, more than 30 different Mexican rehabs have begun using the Narconon first step program which withdraws addicts from even the fiercest drug with minimal discomfort. Using proper nutritional supplements designed to assist withdrawal and gentle physical techniques heroin and other drug addicts routinely withdraw without the traditional horrible withdrawal symptoms.

The other answer to drug addiction is education. Narconon delivers effective drug education to school aged children and high-risk teens. These talks are delivered all over the world. Narconon drug education doesn’t just preach at children to "say no". Instead the speakers engage the children in their own realities and teaches them what it is they are saying no to and why.

Drug cartels can’t be out-gunned or out-financed as long as ignorance of the truth about drugs exist. Governments would be far better off to spend their resources in killing the demand for drugs at the source - ignorance of drugs themselves and their devastation.

Prescription Drug Addiction Treatment Needed More Than Ever

The most recent wave of drug addiction happens to be those drugs prescribed by physicians.  There are several reasons for this. The availability of prescription drugs and the direct advertising to consumers plays a role.  The phrase "buyer beware" is of the utmost importance when one is talking drugs, no matter the condition they are taken for.

Prescription drug addiction treatment has been more and more needed as more and more consumers are taking increasing numbers of drugs. The Narconon program is an successful drug treatment program for prescription drugs and as such they have seen an increasing number of prescription drug addicts coming to them for help.

A survey done by the National Institute on drug abuse reports that 48 million people-about 20 percent of the U.S. population-aged 12 or older had used prescription drugs for non-medical reasons in their lifetimes. When one considers these numbers it is no mystery why so many Americans are showing up in drug rehab hooked on their doctors prescriptions or those obtained off the street.

Pain is the usual reason one begins taking prescription painkillers. However, unless the underlying reason for the pain is addressed either structurally, as in setting a bone, or nutritionally or pathologically, the patient continues to suffer long-term and more and more relies on prescription pain killers to ease the pain. The unfortunate part is that as one continue to take pain killers, they cease to deaden the pain as they initially did, requiring the user to use larger and larger doses. The result can be addiction.

The Narconon program addresses prescription addiction by first having the person medically examined to locate any underlying deficiencies or illnesses. The person is then helped with nutritional supplements that aid withdrawal and gentle physical techniques that assist withdrawal.

The program’s next step is removing the drug residues from the person’s body with a safe sauna program that is nutritionally balanced and has been proven to do just that.

The personal issues the person was having that led to his addiction are then addressed so that he can become more able in life and have the knowledge he needs to handle life’s problems and not have to resort to drug use as a solution. Underlying stress is often a cause of many physical ailments that may have led to the need for pain pills to begin with.

By doing the full Narconon program, the person is able to come off of drugs and live a happy drug-free life.

If you know of someone struggling with prescription drug addiction or would like to find out more about the Narconon program contact Narconon today at 877-237-3307.

Narconon Provides Methamphetamine Addiction Treatment That Works

Methamphetamine is probably one of the more vicious of street drugs. Although brewed in a lab, methamphetamine is anything but safe.  It has been an illegal drug since 1970 but its use has remained constant in the U.S. Methamphetamine is highly addictive and it’s important that users seek addiction help given the physical damage that can occur.

Methamphetamine is labeled as having a high potential for abuse.  Many using it do need drug rehabilitation . It affects the central nervous system and gives the user a general sense of well-being, increased activity, and decreases appetite. Its affects can last 6 to 8 hours. After the initial "rush", which lasts only a few minutes, the user can experience a high state of agitation that can lead to violent behavior.

The truth is methamphetamine is a neurotoxin. This means it damages the brain. It actually can cause irreversible damage including damage to the blood vessels in the brain and cause strokes. It also affects the heart and can lead to heart failure and death. To top it off it damages the liver, kidneys and lungs. However, it is doubtful the user is ever fully apprised of these effects before taking the drug.

The other side of the coin is, the chemicals used to make methamphetamine are each toxic on their own and may be different each time. Acute lead poisoning from the manufacture process has happened. In addition, the more it’s used the more likelihood there is of brain damage.

This isn’t a small U.S. problem. In 2008, 850.000 Americans age 12 and older had used meth at least once in the year prior to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Given the numbers effective methamphetamine addiction treatment is needed.

There is one program that successfully handles methamphetamine addiction. This is the Narconon program . This program handles both the physical and mental aspects of methamphetamine addiction. It even helps to repair the damage caused by drug use.

When someone has been found to be abusing methamphetamine, there invariably are personal issues that they are trying to escape from by use of the drug. These can be emotional problems, physical problems, family issues, and so on. The Narconon program addresses these matters at the appropriate point during the addiction treatment program. The student learns to confront issues in life instead of withdrawing from them.  The result is a happy, productive, drug-free person.

Narconon has been successfully providing addiction help for over 40 years. The Narconon program has an over 70% success rate of permanent recovery from addiction. It can and does permanently handle methamphetamine addiction.

If you know of someone that needs help in overcoming addiction or you would like more information on the Narconon program contact Narconon today at 877-237-3307.

Marijuana Addiction Treatment That Gets Results

Marijuana is the most commonly abused illicit drug in the U.S., however few consider the real threat with smoking marijuana.  Marijuana can be habit forming and often leads the user to other drugs.

Narconon drug treatment addresses marijuana use. Addicts coming into Narconon commonly have used marijuana and this led them to other drugs as well or even multiple drug usage. Although marijuana is often pushed as being mild, its toxic effects damage the lungs, nerves and brain.

Technically, marijuana contains THC which is a neurotoxin. This means marijuana is a poison that damages the brain and nerves. Marijuana contains over 400 different chemicals, however, the most damaging of them is THC and this chemical affects the mind the most. The adverse impact on learning and memory can last for days or weeks after the acute affects of marijuana have worn off. Simply put, marijuana use makes one less intelligent and more wooden.

In addition to the damage to the nervous system, marijuana burns up all the vitamins and minerals in the body, this creates deficiencies and causes the user to feel progressively worse after each use.

The solution to marijuana use and other drug use is the Narconon program . The first steps of the Narconon program help to reverse the damages of drug use by supplying the addict with proper vitamin and minerals to assist the body in repairing the damage caused by drug use. Withdrawal symptoms are generally caused in part by these deficiencies.

Flushing the remaining toxins from marijuana use from the body using the New Life Detoxification program is a key part to the user overcoming his cravings. This part of the Narconon program is closely supervised and consists of proper nutrition, vitamin and mineral supplements, plenty of fluids and spending time in a dry sauna each day. The result of doing this program is a renewed sense of mental clarity and cessation of cravings.

As the marijuana user often has personal issues that led him or her to begin using drugs, these are addressed and taken up during the remaining steps of the Narconon program. The former user gets a chance to inspect their past and learn new tools to handle the areas of confusion that they ran into trouble with in life.

Overall the Narconon program handles drug addiction for the individual and gives one new information in which to continue to live a productive, drug-free life. Marijuana, as with any other drug can be abused. Narconon offers an effective solution to marijuana addiction treatment .

Narconon Provides Effective Cocaine Addiction Treatment

Cocaine is a highly addictive drug that accounts for over 16% of people going into drug addiction treatment. Cocaine trafficking is the leading drug threat in the U.S. according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s 2009 Drug Threat Assessment.  As the drug is highly addictive many do wind up hooked.

Cocaine addiction treatment is a necessary step if one is going to remain drug free. Teenagers are abusing cocaine and do become addicted. The National Survey on Drug Use and Health reports that 5.3 million Americans age 12 and older had abused cocaine. By the time Americans have reached the age of 30 one in six have tried cocaine.

There are many cocaine addiction treatment options. However, most have a minimal success rate, below 20%.  However, there is one program that stands out above the rest with a 70% success rate.  This is the Narconon program .

For over 44 years Narconon has been providing a solution to drug addiction and providing addiction help . Narconon offers both in-patient and out-patient treatment options. Narconon does not view its clients as "patients" there to recover from some disease. They view them as students with something to learn.

Drug addiction begins due to some problem, pain or emotional issue the person has no immediate solution to. Due to peer pressure, advertising and other factors the person turns to drugs or alcohol as a solution to the physical or emotional situation they are suffering with. Finding relief the person then values the substance. When the drug or alcohol wears off the person experiences the pain or unwanted emotion much stronger than before.  This can then lead to the person continuing to use the drug or alcohol to try and get rid of the unwanted condition again and again. Soon they are addicted.

Knowing this life cycle of addiction Narconon addresses the factors of drug addiction and handles the many parts. The first parts of the Narconon program give a drug-free withdrawal using special physical techniques and specific nutrition to aid withdrawal.  From there the student goes onto do a series of drills that restore the person’s ability to communicate and confront his surroundings.

The next step of the program safely flushes drug residue and toxins out from the addicts’ body using a dry sauna, plenty of liquids and specific nutritional supplements and proper nutrition.  This program has been scientifically validated and the result is clearer thinking and the end of drug cravings.

The remaining steps of the Narconon program address the factors that caused the person to seek drugs or alcohol to begin with. They involve a series of courses that each handles a specific aspect of drug addiction.

Cocaine addiction is not new. Cocaine addiction treatment that works is. If you would like more information on effective drug treatment or would like to find out more about the Narconon program contact Narconon at 877-237-3307.

Alcohol Addiction Treatment With High Success Rate

Alcohol to most isn’t even considered a drug. It’s legal and easy to obtain. Alcohol is very much part of traditional and modern culture.  However, abused it carries with it some heavy penalties for the user and society.

There are no two ways around it, alcohol is a drug.  Abused many users end up in drug rehab . Like any other drug it acts as a poison to the body when taken in large volume.  One of the main effects alcohol has is on "burning up" or using vitamins in a person’s body when taken.  The result is a sick and tired feeling after drinking it, commonly referred to as a "hangover". This "hangover" is really just the burning up of all the useful nutrients stored in the body. This can lead to illness.

As a person continues to use alcohol the vitamin stores are further burned up. This results in the person feeling sicker and more tired than before. The solution to the user seems to be more alcohol. The real result is a vicious cycle of worsening health and addiction.

Alcohol is abused by almost every age and socio-economic group. It is no small problem. Narconon offers alcohol addiction treatment . A key difference between Narconon and other drug rehab programs is Narconon does not view alcoholics as someone suffering from some incurable disease they will always have to live with. Instead, Narconon recognizes the alcoholic as any other drug addict and by doing the laid out steps of the Narconon program they can overcome their addiction and live a happy, productive drug-free live.

The Narconon program gets to the root of alcohol addiction. Given that alcohol burns up the vitamins and nutritional reserves of a body, the first step of the Narconon program involves proper nutrition and specific vitamin and nutritional supplements that aid withdrawal. This is followed by a program designed to safely flush and eliminate from the alcoholic’s body the toxic residue left behind from drinking. By doing this the person not only achieves clearer thinking but they eliminate their cravings for alcohol as well.

There is also the matter as to why one went to alcohol as a solution to begin with. There are usually several reasons. The Narconon program has steps to address these as well. Once the student of Narconon graduates they have all the life skills needed to be successful in life and with these in use can go on to live a happy, productive, drug-free life.

Alcohol as a drug affects every organ in the users body including impairing the brain and motor skills. It often gives one the false sense of feeling in control and capable. This false sense of reality becomes a liability when the alcohol user drives a car or operates machinery. It can also inhibit seeking help. The result can be the ruin of a life or lives.

If you know of someone struggling with an alcohol problem or would like to find out more about the Narconon program contact Narconon today at 877-237-3307.

Narconon Drug Rehab Philosophy

When a family has a member addicted to drugs or alcohol or one is looking for a drug rehab facility, arguing over philosophic methods is hardly appropriate. However, results are.  Will my son or daughter get results and be able to live drug free? This question is more to the point.  One organization provides stellar results and has a new philosophy proving to be more workable than older ones.

Scientists and the medical and chemical dependency community have argued for years over whether drug or alcohol addiction is a genetically or bio-chemically predisposed condition. One school of thought embraces the "disease concept", the idea that addiction is a genetic disease and the individual is permanently ill at a genetic level. However, the Narconon program presents a new philosophy into this scene, and this one is backed up by drug rehab results of permanent recovery from addiction.

There is a philosophy called the Life Cycle of Addiction. In this case, it is viewed that a person has a problem, discomfort or some form of emotional or physical pain they are experiencing. They find this difficulty very hard to deal with. In fact, they have no solution.

This is something we have all had to deal with at one time or another in our lives, a difficult or traumatic situation that we had no solution for. The difference with a person that becomes an addict is that at the time of this traumatic experience they are subjected to a drug or alcohol influence that then, due to the painkilling effects, provides a temporary relief from the negative feelings associated with the problem.

Once the drug or alcohol is used as a solution, and provides relief, the person is liable to use it again and again as the pain returns when the drug or intoxicated feeling wears off.

This leads to addiction.

To solve addiction, the mental and physical factors connected with it must be addressed. The Narconon drug rehabilitation program that has been in use for over 40 years addresses these factors and returns to the addict their self-determinism over drugs and alcohol enabling them to live a drug-free life.

The Narconon program uses the philosophy of the life cycle of addiction and as such achieves a 70% success rate on average. Traditional philosophies have about a 16-20% recovery rate. Truly understanding addiction can make all the difference.

If you would like to find out more about the Narconon program or know of someone struggling with addiction contact Narconon at 877-237-

Narconon Discusses Prescription Abuse

According to Narconon experts, prescription drugs are the latest trend in addiction.

Prescription drug addiction has been on a steady increase in the past several years. There are more and more prescription drugs available each year and with increased supply and wide scale advertising in vogue, there are now more people with drug problems due to misuse of prescription drugs than illegal drugs.

Drug rehab centers have seen a rise in prescription drug addicts. Narconon is a non-profit organization that provides successful drug rehabilitation and education services to thousands every year. Narconon now commonly finds prescription drugs among the list of frequently abused substances. Oftentimes simply because prescription drugs  are easier to get.

The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy in a recent report state more people are being initiated to prescription addiction now than illicit drugs. So not only do we now have 2.2 million new abusers of marijuana, we also now have 2.5 million new prescription drug abusers each year.

With drug abuse growing at alarming rates there needs to be an effective solution. In looking at the options out there for someone addicted to drugs, whether prescription or street drugs the answers aren’t promoted nearly as much as the drug ads, making it difficult to find a drug rehab center that truly gets results.

In researching various addiction solutions including giving the addict a new drug to substitute for the old drug, telling the addict he cannot change his condition and must learn to live with it and simply going off "cold turkey" only the Narconon program stood out above the rest.

Narconon commonly sees a 70% success rate of addicts completing the program of permanent recovery from addiction. This far surpasses the 14% success rate of other programs.  Although no drugs are used in the Narconon program, Narconon does use proper nutritional supplements as well as gentle physical techniques called "Assists" that alleviate the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms.

Tens of thousands of students have completed the Narconon program that has been in use for over 40 years. The program addresses both the physical as well as mental aspects of drug addiction.

Given the volume of prescription drugs flooding into society, the number of successful rehabilitation programs need to increase to meet the demand of both educating people on the dangers of addiction as well as providing a solution for those addicted. On both counts Narconon is providing solutions.

If you would like to find out more about the Narconon program or know of someone that needs help for addiction contact Narconon at 877-237-3307.

Doing The Right Thing Key Component To Handling Addiction

Morality is a subject which has ceased to be taught in U.S schools.  Few parents also endeavor to teach morality at home. The result can be seen at every turn with a rising criminal population and 23 million Americans in need of drug rehabilitation according to the White House Office of Drug Control Policy .

Narconon a non-profit organization that handles drug and alcohol addiction through successful rehabilitation includes universal moral principles as part of it’s overall drug rehabilitation program. They have observed the obvious need for morals among rehabilitating addicts. Most people who have become addicted to drugs were never taught basic moral principles so they really understood them.

One of the principles Narconon teaches is "Don’t do anything Illegal".  This may seem blatantly obvious to some, however, as one looks around and even at one’s own life one can see there may be times one has done illegal things. The truth is theses tend to accumulate and eventually, if one doesn’t otherwise correct them, could cause one to fail in life.

The book containing this common sense moral principle and 20 others used on the Narconon program is The Way to Happiness. This book has been published in over 90 languages and 70 million copies have been distributed. Its author, America humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard , wrote it in the 1981 after witnessing the intense moral decline of the society in the 1970s. This moral code is brilliantly written in that it applies to all races and religions as its principles are entirely based on common sense and are not religious.  In fact, 130 nations have accepted it and it has been commended by 2 U.S Presidents, Congressmen, governors and various governments.

Incorporating such fundamental moral principles into the Narconon drug rehabilitation program points former addicts into the direction of being able to lead truly successful drug-free lives.

Life as an addict is anything but moral. Lying, cheating, promiscuity and illegal acts are part and parcel to addiction.  When one is addicted the drug cravings can be so intense as one’s very survival itself seems dependant on obtaining and taking drugs, at whatever cost.  With such intense physical desire driving one, an addict is liable to do anything to relieve the negative sensations.

As the Narconon program addresses both the physical and mental aspect of cravings and drug addiction, the former addict can now in an uninfluenced manner study The Way to Happiness and benefit from it. There is even a prerequisite course on the Narconon program that teaches the addict how to study to ensure he does duplicate the material.

The Way to Happiness has also recently been released as a full length film on DVD bringing the written principles into movie format. By Narconon using The Way to Happiness former addicts are given every chance to live successful drug free lives.

If you would like more information on the Narconon program or The Way to Happiness contact Narconon at 877-237-3307.

Another Hollywood Celebrity Lost To Drugs

Whether or not final autopsy findings reveal Corey Haim’s actual cause of death was caused by drug overdose, the facts remain his long standing battle with drug abuse no doubt compromised his health and as he put it, made him "a chronic relapser for the rest of my life".

Haim did see a "drug addiction specialist" two weeks before his death, according to his Manager, Mark Heaslip and long-time friend Corey Feldman.  However that "specialist" put him on a new line of drugs. Narconon , a non-profit drug rehabilitation organization, states drug abuse isn’t handled by switching one drug for another. The "specialist" had Haim weaned down to zero according to Feldman, then re-drugged him.

The re-drugging of drug addicts is based on an unsound theory of "chemical imbalances". According to Narconon drug rehabilitation specialist and Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Gary Smith, there is a philosophy that chemical dependency leads to permanent chemical imbalances in the brain that must be treated with mind altering drugs. Mr. Smith states in the book Healing Addicted Lives, "A review of national averages shows that addiction treatment programs based on these theories result in recovery rates of just 16% to 20%."  However, the non-drug approach of Narconon has a success rate of over 70%.

At Narconon when someone is addicted to drugs, he is helped off the drugs and the underlying factors of addiction are addressed instead of giving him a different drug and masking those factors.

The Narconon program is a comprehensive drug rehabilitation program that handles the many factors involved in drug addiction.  According to Narconon, when drug rehabilitation programs fail it is because the many facets of drug addiction are not addressed. The person never overcomes being an addict because they are often times told they must simply accept that they are an addict and must learn to live with it. This is the same as saying, if one had a sliver in his thumb one must learn to cope with it. The truth being if one simply removes the sliver, they no longer have to cope and "learn to deal" with their problem as they have addressed the root cause of the problem.

Narconon addresses the root causes of addiction and as such succeeds where other drug rehab programs fail.  Today’s world far too often glorifies drug use with reality TV shows pressing it home.  Cory Haim is another Hollywood example of the real horrors of drug addiction. For years he went along without getting help.

Several months ago the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy released an awareness campaign encouraging the families and friends of those addicted to seek help for their loved one. Seeking help is the first step to overcoming addiction. However, it is important the help be effective for the addict to truly recover from addiction. The Narconon program has been successfully handling addiction for over 44 years and has 120 centers worldwide.  Narconon is a total non-drug solution that puts the person back in the driver’s seat of their life and able to live a successful drug-free life.

If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, contact Narconon at 877-237-3307 to learn the options available or to find out more about an effective drug rehabilitation program.
